Dungeon Level Poll
Abbreviations
"What level should I be to hunt in this dungeon?"
This is a harder question to answer than may readily be apparent. Many factors come into play in determining the chances for success in a given dungeon. What monsters will you be facing? Do you have the skills necessary to handle them? Do you have the proper equipment to face the challenge that lies ahead? Do you know the strategies most useful to defeat expected foes or will you be learning as you go? Without full knowledge of your character's abilites, weaknesses, and resources it is impossible for anyone else to answer the dungeon level question reliably.
What you can get from others is a sense of what it takes to conquer a dungeon. Knowing that someone else was able to survive, and perhaps even flourish, in a dungeon at a given level is useful in gauging your own potential for success. The information becomes more reliable with the more people from whom you hear. If twenty people were able to make it through a dungeon when they were level 10, chances are you can too.
That is what these pages are all about, supplying what the Realm community has found to be the level necessary to succeed in a dungeon. The Dungeon Level Poll pages provide the suggested levels appropriate for each dungeon in the game as determined by all those who have taken the time to contribute their knowledge. As you look through these recommendations please keep in mind that:
- Recommendations are for the level required to successfully complete the entire dungeon.
- Recommendations are for a single player, not as part of a group.
- Calculated Averages are rounded up to nearest whole number.
- Where available, the semi-official recommendation has been included and is listed as the first value in the table.
The information contained on these pages is only as good as you, the players, make it. At present there are many gaps. Thieves and adventurers are poorly represented and many of the dungeons have few level recommendations of any kind. The only way to improve the data is to contribute to it.
