     SUMMER LITERARY GATHERINGS
      IN A POET’S BACKYARD
             Theodore Roethke - Pulitzer Prize Poet
      Gratiot Avenue Saginaw, Michigan

      June 11th, 7:00 p.m., Wednesday
Program:   Terry Wooten, Michigan Poet Bard and storyteller, will share
anthologies of classical literature, contemporary poetry, and folklore around
Saginaw’s Stone Circle.   Come and enjoy.
Beverages served
Program:  $10 adults, $5 students

     July 15th, 6:30p.m., Tuesday
Program:  Dr. Judith Kerman, SVSU professor, will provide an interesting
program of stories and poetry by Dominican women along with some of her
own published works.
Music:  Soloist, Tabitha Gonzales
Art:  Displays of carnival masks by Dominican women
Picnic:  Don Pablo’s of Saginaw

      Mid August – date to be posted
Program:  Jo Lee Dibert, poet and cartoonist will share an entertaining
evening with excerpts of her published works and her life experiences of
becoming a cartoonist.

Art:  To be announced
Picnic:  Montague Inn of Saginaw

          Paid reservations of meals due three days prior to each event - $16
